about

This instrumental electro-rock record was shaped by hundreds of unrushed hours in a pre-Civil War era historic studio next to a nature preserve on New York's Mohawk River, and finds Jesse and Jon stretching their imaginations and sonic boundaries to uncharted territory while also drawing upon the music that has shaped their lives and creative journeys.

The two artists - who've collaborated on and off since forming Jesse and the Rippers in 1999 - each played dozens of instruments on the record, and wrote, arranged and produced all the songs together on the fly in the studio.

Although there is a track for every taste and mood, it's designed to be listened to as a continuous experience.

p.s. this is a labor of love that has been on the front of my heart and mind for almost two years - by far the longest i've ever spent on any musical project - and i hope it will grow to mean as much to someone as it means to me
